The LELO Billy is part of LELO’s Homme line of products and is billed as “The Most Sophisticated Gentleman’s G-spot Massager” on LELO’s website. LELO has created a beautiful and fun product in the Billy, but I am not convinced that sophisticated is the right word. I found the Billy to be a fairly straightforward and simple prostate toy that has a few flaws.
The Billy arrived as with all LELO toys in a very high quality box containing the Billy, a charger, and a cloth bag for storage. The toy itself looks very similar to other high-end LELO vibrators. The phallus is made out of beautiful and silky smooth silicone with a base of hard plastic that houses the vibration controls. There is of course some few alteration to allow the Billy to have better compatibility with anal play. The most obvious is the small flange at the base of the silicone phallus. This was absolutely a necessity because the Billy is probably one of the easiest toys I have ever inserted into myself.
Simply sliding right in, the Billy was an absolute joy to insert. As I said the Billy looks like other high-end LELO vibes slightly modified which lead to some issues. Billy has only a slight curve to him. This made it fairly difficult for me to hit the good spots. I tried a few positions and the best was laying on my back with my ass elevated, but it was still a challenge to zone in on the prostate. The Billy could definitely benefit from having a more exaggerated curve to it.
Luckily the powerful vibe made up for the lack of curve in the Billy. This is without a doubt the strongest vibe I have ever used on my prostate. Even with my difficulty homing in on my prostate with the vibe cranked up the Billy is a hell of a ride. However, this leads us to another problem, the vibration controls. Billy’s vibe controls are square on the middle of the front of the hard plastic base. The controls are very easy to hit and accidentally change the vibe mode or intensity, especially when you are wiggling Billy around in search of the spot. Nothing is more disappointing than having the vibration change or slow right when you hit the spot.
All and all the LELO Billy is a beautiful prostate toy, but it has some design flaws which lead me to being let down slightly. I absolutely love LELO toys, but the Billy didn’t feel like it was designed for prostate play. It seemed as if LELO just modded one of their vibes to be used for anal play, but I don’t think they went far enough with the modifications for the prostate owning crowd. If the Billy had a more pronounced curve and a slightly longer base with the vibration controls positioned on the bottom of the base to avoid being switched on accident it would be an amazing prostate toy for solo or partner play. However, as it is now, it requires a lot of effort to use solo. I fully intend to try it with a partner soon and I suspect many of my complaints be will lessened or go away, but a greater curve and the base alterations I mentioned would still help here.
