It's been a while since I've had something to review over here at Swingset Labs, and when I come back, surprise surprise, it's some anal beads, Ophoria's Rapture #6.
When I took them out of the box, I noticed a few things right off. First, they're extremely soft silicone, the kind that's fun to touch, sort of matte finish. Smooth but textured. Second, the beads themselves are rather thin and oval, so this is a perfect product for beginners. It's about ten inches long, with seven or so of those inches insert-able. And ours was bright purple.
Immediately I liked that this set of “beads” wasn't actually disconnected beads like so many of the cheaper options are, instead it's a single continuous piece of silicone with ovular bumps along its length, starting out very small and getting a little bit bigger to about 3/4 of an inch across. These are not a set of difficult beads by any means, and the fact that the first one to slide in caused me to ask “When are you going to start?” is quit indicative of that.
The smoothness of the silicone made insertion extremely easy, and before I knew it all that remained was the large silicone loop, texturized with bumps for non slippage despite all the lube you might have on your hands. It may be because I'm rather seasoned when it comes to anal toys, but over-all I couldn't feel a whole lot of anything with this toy inside me. Tugging on the loop a bit helped, and gave me that tingly prostate sensation that I know and love.
But just barely.
I can't fault the toy in the least. It's well made, soft to the touch, slides in easily, has a great grip loop and is 100% silicone which means (as any good butt toy should be) it can be boiled! So I'd be hard pressed to say anything but nice things about it. I would without a doubt say that this is a great set of beads for the anal bead beginner. They're non-intimidating (bright purple) extremely soft and extremely thin so they don't create any obstacles for newbies to overcome.
Another great product from Ophoria!
