For the longest time for us, lube was just whatever we'd pickup at the store. Or when we were feeling adventurous, maybe we'd try that new lube we saw in the commercial, the warming one or whatever. That was a lifetime (and lifestyle) ago and now lube is definitely on my mind far more. We never really had much use for it, to be sure…Marilyn is exceedingly wet, therefore making it fairly unnecessary during penetration, and well, when I take matters in hand, 9 times out of 10 I reach for the Jergens. (I'm sure they love that little plug, perhaps I should link to them.)
But things changed, to be sure, when we started up in the lifestyle. Suddenly we were meeting a whole lot of different people with a whole lot of different body types and moisture levels. There was more handjobs going on, more toys going into things, and well, we again were rather go-with-the-flow. We had our lubes leftover from when we'd bought them throughout our marriage, or we'd use whatever lube was on hand where we were. (Or, of course, the ever popular saliva.)
And one night we were introduced to our first silicone lube by some great friends. All previous lubes had been goopy, or far too thin, or way too slick, but System JO's Silicone Lube was silky soft and smooth and just a joy to feel. I remember, in the aftermath, fingers being run around my privates smoothly, silky. It was like oil, yet as soon as I wanted to wash it off, it went away. I was thoroughly blown away. Flash forward to now and toy trials. Obviously we couldn't use a silicone lubricant on MOST of the toys we're testing because they're silicone based and the lube would actually degrade the toys. (And according to some literature I've read recently, make it STINK!) But the water based lubes we were trying were simply not cutting it. (See above re: goopy)
Then we discovered System JO's H2O lube. A water based lube that was just as silky and soft as the silicone. Using this on toys was like a dream. While it contains glycerin (the ingredient that makes MOST water based lubes get very sticky very quickly), System JO's water based lube takes its sweet time drying out, and is extremely easy to get slick again with just a little bit of saliva. I've even ditched the Jergens in favor of it (especially because of my Fleshlight adventures and their incompatibility with lotion)
For us, the two flagship “flavors” of System JO lubes, the silicone based in the black striped bottle or the water based in the blue, are two of the creme of the crop lubricants on the market.
Highly recommended!

Thanx for the review!
I am a newly married man and I agree that this lube is nothing but amazing (JO’s H2O lube).
I rubbed a tiny drop between my fingers for an hour and my hand got sore before the lube could dry or even get sticky. My wife is also sensitive to almost all lubes and this one gives zero problems.
The non-flavoured lubes are usually gross but this one has a mild, sweet zing to it making it great for those times when you want to lick him or her after the fact.
