MySecretLuxury.com is a brand new online store that carries the best sex toys and luxurious romance tools carefully selected for the most discerning clientele. They were kind enough to send us Fun Toy's newest vibrator, G-vibe, for review.
The G-vibe by Fun Toys is an oddly shaped vibrator unlike anything I had seen. At first, I thought that it was completely unique in design until I was shown the SplitDILDO. The SplitDILDO took a regular looking dildo and split it lengthwise allowing for a fuller feeling inside.
The G-vibe takes the idea further and adds a oval handle to the bottom and a vibrating motor in each top end. So when the G-vibe is inserted, the flexible legs not only open up to fill the vagina but can apply a simultaneous vibration to the g-spot and the perennial sponge on the opposite side of the vagina.
The G-vibe comes beautifully packaged with a USB charging cord, drawstring carrying pouch and instruction manual of sketches of possible uses for the vibe. It is made of a very soft, subtle medical grade silicone. It is completely waterproof, so could be submerged for bathtub or hot tub fun.
This vibe measures 9 inches in length with 6 inches insertable and is ranges from 3 inches in circumference to 8 inches when the flexible ends are spread open. And lasts 4 hours on a single charge.
The G-vibe is very easy to use having only three buttons; one to change between 6 vibration patterns, one to increase vibration and one to decrease vibration. The buttons are located on the handle out of the way so they will not be accidentally pressed, while the oval handle is easy to grip even with lube slick hands.
The promotional material for the G-vibe states that it “creates a pleasant sensation of fullness without stretching the (vaginal) entrance” and that it “can be comfortably used both by younger women and also those who have given birth.”
My thoughts:
I was almost offended with their promotional propaganda that seems to give the impressions that both stretching the vaginal entrance and giving birth are negative things. The vagina will retract after birth as will the entrance once the obstacle is removed.
But moving on to the vibrator itself:
I was not overly impressed with the amount of vibration that the G-vibe exhibited even on the highest speed, but I am a strong vibration kind of gal. My hubby’s other girlfriend is drooling to get her hands on it. She is extremely sensitive to vibration. Where I love my Hitachi, she can’t even deal with it on low.
However, I was impressed with the soft texture of the silicone and the flexibility of the G-vibe. It is a good overall design and the materials make it easy to want to play with.
I tried the G-vibe in for both external and internal stimulation, as the pictures in the instruction manual showed. While it felt good on my clit, I was not really impressed with the internal stimulation, perhaps due to the lower vibration than I prefer. I also did not feel as full as I had hoped, perhaps because there was no stretching of the entrance.
I did try this vibe on a male partner as the instruction booklet shows. He really enjoyed the sensation of the vibration on either side of his balls. He was especially quick to cum with the vibe’s legs split apart where one of them was vibrating against his asshole and the other against his balls.
So overall, I think the G-vibe would be a good vibe for people that don’t need something extremely strong or a good vibe for couples to me able to use.
