Review: 52 Weeks of Naughty Nights

I'm occasionally kind of a… kitschy corny guy, and it also occasionally shows. 🙂 So 52 Weeks of Naughty Nights seemed right up my ally. It's a pack of 108 cards, 52 for men and 52 for women, designed to be scratched off once a week, with naughty suggestions for you to try out with your partner. The kit comes with a ribbon tied pouch to carry the suggestion cards so you can discreetly put it near a door so you can draw one as you leave for your week at work, or just to have around as a reminder. Taking at least one a week is key.

When I first received this I expected it to be a lot of the same romantic “spice up your life” suggestions that I'd heard for years, before and after becoming a swinger. There are plenty of these cards and they're still great suggestions, a trail of treats to the bedroom, a night of submission, etc… But fairly often, one in every four to five cards, something I hadn't ever thought of or heard came up, something simple like popping a peppermint into your mouth before oral sex, even sticking notes in your partners car before the next morning. Many of the cards seemed thoughtful, not all just to satisfy a carnal lust between two people but to make it clear that attention is positive, and just spending time thinking about your partner is valuable.

None of the cards have anything so outrageous that your most conservative friends would reject them, but they'd definitely blush a little bit. I could easily see giving this pack to long time friends whose marriage has been a little dry, but I would love to give this to friends who are more in love than ever. The cards strike a very good balance between naughty and accessible that I really didn't expect.

52 Weeks of Naughty Nights surprised me, and while I've already scratched off all 108, I think we're going to draw the cards over the next year nevertheless!
