‘Chucks’ are actually hospital pads. I believe the term is slang used by hospital personnel.
It is actually our favorite pad. They are soft, strong, very absorbent, reasonably inexpensive, industrial strength, take heavy hot bleached washes, etc. The waterproof backing has never failed us.
