Review: Flip Ramp by Liberator

Liberator Flip Ramp ReviewLet's face it, pillows and bedding, and footstools and chairs, and anything else you have in your house, really, are not designed to improve your sexual positioning. Which is a shame, because unique sexual position allows for variety, and variety is what keeps things interesting, and interesting is what keeps you from wandering down the block to the belltower and…wait…that might be an extreme example.

Many of us, though, spend far more time than necessary attempting to find the JUST RIGHT amount of pillows to shove under our partner's ass, or finally getting all the way onto tiptoes so that the bed isn't too high. We've spent years getting things to pretty good, when we've deserved awesome. And time after time, what we get from Liberator, is awesome.

This is going to be a bit of a tag team review here, as the Liberator Flip Ramp arrived the day before a pair of friends were due to arrive for a very steamy weekend.  Not five minutes after I showed the Flip Ramp to our good friend The Professor, he'd taken it upon himself to slide it around, turn it over, feel it up and down, and hoist my wife on top.

Here are his thoughts:

I was delighted when Cooper invited me to review the Liberator Flip Ramp. I was quite a bit more excited when the sexy Marilyn offered to help in the “review.” All in the name of an informed Swingset of course!

The basics, from liberator.com are as follows:

“The Flip Ramp is…both a ‘boom box' and a ramp…disguised as a contemporary stylish ottoman. Microfiber covers zip-off for easy machine washing. Cube dimensions: 19″ x 19″ x 14.5″. Ramp dimensions: 38″ x 19″ x 11″. Accessorize with the optional Flip Ramp Slip Cover to completely disguise your Flip Ramp as an innocent piece of furniture. The super soft faux leather cover comes in black, and slips easily over your Flip Ramp, allowing it to be used as an ottoman or for impromptu seating in any room of the house.”

We started putting it to the test immediately, with Marilyn spread out as eye candy facing downwards in the ramp position. Her ass was nicely positioned for penetration from behind at a very comfortable height. In the course of the “review” we wanted to be sure to give it a thorough test, so we tried multiple angles from this position. The Flip Ramp was the perfect support–soft but not overly forgiving with the repeated, er, pounding.

Not yet completely satisfied–that we had done a thorough review, that is–we moved to missionary. With Marilyn's lovely ass right to the very edge and with more vigorous “testing” (also in the ramp position), the Flip Ramp continued to hold up, even along the outermost edge. It encouraged playing with different angles (figuratively of course because an electronic

voice coming from the Ramp to literally encourage you to try different positions would just be weird). The varied angles are fun to play with and there is plenty of vertical height to drop your hips and give the G-spot plenty of attention. Whether you're practicing G-spot orgasms with your vanilla partner, or your in the middle of an extended orgy and need the help, the Flip Ramp offers much assistance.

Along to the finale of the review, we found ourselves nearly completely off (or you could say that we continued to get off), having slid along the angle and up onto the bed itself. It may be easy to consider this as the Flip Ramp‘s only downfall (pun intended), but instead it is best to think that it performed as all sex toys should–a supportive role, but not intrusively so.

The only remaining questions are: 1. Durability–will the foam hold up over time and to repeated “stress”?; and 2. Will it really pass muster as a piece of furniture at your typical cocktail party?

Sadly the time to test with the insatiable Marilyn had to come to an end. If we are lucky, Ginger and I will score one ourselves and then we will all keep testing these questions thoroughly.

Hey all, Cooper here again. In reflecting on Prof and Marilyn's time with the Liberator Flip Ramp, I wonder why Ginger and myself didn't try to steal it for some testing of our own that night. But no matter, my time with the Flip Ramp was still to come at the cocktail party planned for the next day.

When beds are occupied at, shall we say, special kinds of parties, one must often go to the floor. (And the comfort of a Liberator Escape if one happens to be so lucky…this one is.) And when I am receiving a delightful blowjob, I often feel the need to give back a little something, and by a little something, I mean I suggest the yin and yang that is the 69

I suggested it to my lovely partner and she anxiously abided, sliding her legs on either side of my head. Having recently discovered the Liberator Heart Shaped Wedge as a distinctly viable aide in 69, getting my head and neck up to the right height so I'm not having to keep pulling myself up, I thought I'd give the Flip Ramp a try. I flipped it open on the Escape and the microfiber texture locked in place.  I settled in with my back on the lower part and my neck on the slope and my head near the top. It took some movement and rearranging to get this just right (because for a moment, I was being pressed too hard against it and the angle just made me claustrophobic) but once I found the grove on the Ramp, I was able to find the groove on the girl as well and got a couple of O's out of her.

So, why get a Flip Ramp and not a “Classic” Ramp? Well, the standard Ramp is bigger, and doesn't double as much else (especially if it's purple) but my biggest comparison point, and what caused me to sit up and take notice when we received the Flip Ramp, is the shape of the Ramp itself. On the Flip Ramp, the slope is curved, with a high point before the slope, and a rounded valley. I found that this fit contours much better than the standard ramp, and lead to more comfort.

Also since the Flip Ramp folds in on itself into a block and with the black faux leather cover on it, the Flip Ramp does pass as a piece of furniture, albeit one you don't want to be standing on (as we learned the hard way. it IS foam after all.)

But over here at the Swingset are a number of people who can tell you without a doubt that the Flip Ramp improved the positioning in a number of different sexual pairings and situations, and as I began this post with, that variety is really the glue that holds relationships together.

Oh and the sex. That does it too!
